Home Renovation Tax Credit

The Canadian Government announced a Home Renovation Tax Credit with the 2009 budget allowing Canadians to receive up to $1,350 in a tax credit on eligible renovations completed between January 27, 2009 and February 1, 2010. The property must be a residence you live in and the renovations/alterations must be of an enduring nature. Appliances, furniture and tools are not eligible for this tax credit.
